Is Armstrong going to be a Beast or a Bust?

Starting on July 4th, this Saturday, the 96th Tour de France begins and in the roster for the Astana team is once again Lance Armstrong. Armstrong is undoubtedly one of the best athletes to ever live and is up there on legendary stature with Michael Jordan. The question is: can this 37 year old repeat his past victories or is he too old to be competitive against his younger rivals? In an interview (Click Here for full) yesterday, Armstrong says he is willing to take the backseat to help his teammate Alberto Contador win, but not to completely count him out of the running to add another gold to his collection. The race is a full three weeks ending on the 26th so we'll see where this champion ends up. Hopefully on top. Beast mode time for Armstrong!

Hottest Doctors on TV

Every guy has fantasized at least once (most likely a crap load more than that) about having a hot chick as your doctor when you go in for a check up. Someone that you want to do more with than look to the side and cough. Sadly, life doesn't work like that, but TV does provide some women to fill those fantasies. These are the four hottest doctors currently on the boob tube (in no particular order):

1) KaDee Strickland
A.k.a. Dr. Charlotte King from Private Practice, might have an odd way of spelling her name but if you watch this foxy doctor on Private Practice you'll want her to give you a physical. A southern belle at heart from Georgia, she sports a 34 bust and is a fan of horror movies. If you watch Private Practice (can't exactly say I do, but according to Wikipedia), Dr. King is the bitch of the show and likes to take charge. And a girl in charge, isn't always a bad thing. KaDee Strickland is doctor Babe worthy.


2) Sarah Chalke
If you love comedy and medicine shows, then you definitely know who Chalke is. Star of Scrubs, Dr. Elliot Reid is the insane, insecure, funny, hot, girl next door kinda doctor who you would want to have your blood pressure rise for. Chalke not only is awesome in Scrubs by appearing in her bra/lingerie/scrubs (yeah scrubs are hot) in all episodes, but she is also a sexy comedian. You can see Chalke on the legendary show How I Met Your Mother and is currently starring on a new show called Man Eaters (not sure what it's about, but sounds kinda hot). This Canadian definitely heats up the screen and is definitely a medical hottie.

3) Jada Pinkett Smith
Debuting in her first starring role, Pinkett Smith is steaming up the boob tube with her bitchy, hard ass, but goddamn good looking Nurse Christina Hawthorne. Okay, so technically not a doctor, but being a registered nurse (that's what the RN stands for in HawthoRNe, if you were wondering) aint too shabby. And Jada is also hot enough to qualify her to be on this list. She's also kinda bad ass being married to Will Smith. Sucks that she's taken and off the market, but Will Smith, that's pretty damn cool. But, only 4'11", this petite woman still makes me kind of watch her new show just to see how good looking she is when under pressure. Smith's bad ass booty also helps her land on this list.

4) Chyler Leigh
Another Southern belle you may be familiar if you've seen Not Another Teen Movie, but Chyler has made her titillating mark as Dr. Lexie Grey on the hit show Grey's Anatomy. Chyler lands on the list by having the hottest girl next door look. Chyler seems to be the girl you would want to hang with and bang with. Leigh is for better or worse a MILF with two kids, but has kept a sexy body making her land on the Stuff Magazine's "102 Sexiest Women in the World"...2002. But she's still hot today too. Chyler has an awesome hour glass figure and on Grey's Anatomy, Dr. Lexie Grey is the smart sexy nerdy girl. One part librarian plus one part hottie, well that sounds good to me.

US Soccer - Finally Makes a Dent Internationally

Even though the US lost to Brazil in a 2nd half come back with a final score of 3-2 at this year's FIFA Confederation Cup held in South Africa, it proved to the world that America is no longer a team to be ignored. The Americans took 2nd place in the tourney making them a strong candidate for next year's World Cup tournament, also held in South Africa. Earlier in the tourney, US stunned the world by beating Spain in the semi-finals, who was thought to be a top contender (Spain ended up 3rd, defeating South Africa). The Americans may have lost in the finals of the Confederation Cup, but it proved that they are no longer playing for the respect of the world but are playing to kick ass and take home some titles. They should be a strong contender for the World Cup and finally make an American imprint on this sport.

B of the Day worthy since....just check her out. Hot, tight body, and does some pretty decent films too. Supposedly in her new movie Powder Blue she does a topless pole dance scene, now we just have to wait for it to come out to see what everyone's been waiting for. Now that's whats up.

Review - Transformers 2 blew my mind!

All I have to say is screw movie reviewers who bombed this movie because it kicked ass! Michael Bay doesn't do anything wrong since he has the best equation: Explosions + Killer Robot Fights + Some Humor + Hot Babes = Awesome Movie. That's the bottom line. The fighting scenes were out of this world especially when Optimus fights three Decepticons at once, including Megatron. It was so well choreographed and put together, one of the best fights I've seen on film for a long time. It's also very cool that Bay uses actual military personnel in the film to make sure it's close to authentic. The visuals in the movie were awesome too, seamless CGI and live action were put together where you actually feel for the robots. It was stunningly put together, and must've been tough as shit to do while filming to imagine where the Bots were going to be added in.

And of course the babes of Transformers rocked. Megan Fox looked so good through out the film even with shit blowing up around her, you still checked her out during the entire film. Her baby voice acting was a little bit annoying at times but looks definitely make up for it. But I wish Isabel Lucas had more screen time since she was smoking even though she went crazy, she was still hot as shit. The acting overall was good too and the story line was pretty decent, not better than the first Transformers but the sequel did live up to the expectations, and made plans for the third installation which is already in the works.
Only problems that I had with the film was where did the Twins go at the end of the movie? (and I think people are retarded if they're saying the Twins were demeaning to african-americans, they were funny, just leave it at that), and I would've liked to see more of the Autobots that were introduced since you see the newbies for a total of maybe 10 minutes, while you saw a lot more Decepticons throughout the film. And, the fact they made University of Pennsylvania into Princeton was bullshit, and truth be told, Ivy League do not have hot babes like that in real life (but for the movie, it rocked). Overall, good acting, fun story, hot babes, killer explosions, and awesome fights create a fun-action filled kick ass movie.

Dominika Cibulkova deserves to be a Past B of the Day since she's kicking ass in Wimbledon and definitely one of the hottest babes on the court. B Worthy.

Everyone knows Sharapova and the William sisters, but these four ladies are hot, athletic, and kicking ass on the grass. That's the best part of athletes, they're always in shape and looking hot. Wimbledon has officially started so here are four babes that you should look out for.

1) Daniela Hantuchova

This native to Slovakia was born in 1983 and is a double threat: major tennis player who also turned model. She's hot on and off the court by having four doubles titles under her belt along with a win at the Indian Welles Tournament in 2002. This babe is toned, hot, and ready to kick ass at Wimbledon. Definitely one of the best looking babes on the court today.


2) Gisela Dulko

24 years old and from Buenos Aires, Dulko has become a bombshell on the tennis circuit with 3 WTA titles and 6 ITF titles. Her highest rank has been 26th in the world. Also, has done some modeling but Dulko remains a threat in the Wimbledon tournament this year.



3) Dominika Cibulkova

Worth of being B of the Day, this 5'3" bombshell comes from Slovakia and has been playing tennis since she was 8. Now 20 years old and on the Wimbledon circuit, Dominkia isn't just a good player but easily challenges Sharapova as one of the hottest players on the circuit. She says if she couldn't be playing tennis, she would want to become an actress. Can't say I wouldn't mind seeing this Slovak beauty on the big screen.


4) Sybille Bammer

Austrian born and raised, this 29 year old still has it and on and off the court. Once ranked 19th in the world has many titles to her name, but she is also one of Austria's hottest women. Being a powerhouse on the court keeps her body in top physical condition and looking hot. See her keep on winning at Wimbledon.

Past B of the Day

On it's opening day, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen made $16 mil in midnight showings, just $2 mil from the record set by The Dark Knight. But it did break the Wednesday opening day box office at $55 mil, beating Harry Potter 5 by $11 mil. Definitely B of the Day worthy.

Review - The predictable Proposal

Just saw The Proposal starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds along with Betty White and Malin Akerman. If you've seen the trailer you know the plot. But, in total the story was an easy going but predictable romantic comedy that worked. There were definitely parts I laughed out loud at and it was a good relaxing feel good movie. Great movie to bring a date to since there are laughs that guys can relate to, especially the morning wood scene. Plus you get to almost see Sandra Bullock completely nude (and she's still looking pretty damn good for 45) along with Malin Akerman looking hot like usual. Overall it's worth while to see if you want some laughs, take a date, and just relax for a good movie.

Santa Monica's Monster Burger

B-blog posts everything B! And because we're men we love meat and that means burgers. If you're a burger fan, like almost every American should be, and you live on the West Coast. I had a 24 ounce burger dubbed The Monster Burger found at Yankee Doodles at the Santa Monica Promenade. No joke, this was probably one of the best burgers I ever had and the size helped too. Meat, bun, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and huge chunks of pickles all inside this monster. It took me a little over an hour to complete it, but I did and every bite was well worth it. This is meat!

Transformers 2 - The Bots are finally Back!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is finally out today in regular and IMAX screens. Not sure about you, but the first film was kick ass and definitely my favorite summer film of '07. But now the Bots are Back with revenge. Reviewers so far are bashing the film, but screw reviewers. The first film wasn't reviewed that well either and ended up pulling in more than $708 million in the box office world wide so Michael Bay, the actors, and his FX team did something right. Also, if you're seeing this film, it'll be better to see it in IMAX since there are two extra minutes of footage and the first time to see Optimus Prime standing his full 50 feet on screen. Not too mention seeing Megan Fox and Isabel Lucas standing tall and pretty doesn't hurt either. If you haven't heard of this film (then you've most likely been under a rock) but CLICK HERE for the most recent trailer.

Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" is going to be Brilliant

As you can see just from the picture of Johnny Depp's character the Mad Hatter. This is not going to be the Disney classic cartoon version of Alice in Wonderland. If you know Tim Burton, you know that he isn't afraid of going dark with a great mix of humor and thrills. USA Today (Click here for full article) has other pictures including panoramic galleries of the world Burton has created along with other characters such as Helena Bonham Carter's Red Queen, and the beautiful Anne Hathaway's White Queen. This is definitely going to be a movie to watch out for in 2010.

Side note: Starting in November, in NYC at MoMA there will be an entire Tim Burton exhibit for his art and film.

She looks mad hot in: Bottle Rocket and the horror flick Shutter.


3) Isabel Lucas

Not known yet (unless you watch Australian soaps for some reason), but should be a stand out in Transformers 2. Lucas also hails from the land down under taking over the lack of Taylor in the new film. She sports a 30 bust, speaks 3 languages, and is from Swiss decent so no wonder she's so freaking hot.

Lucas might not be known that well yet, but I guarantee after the release of Transformers 2 on June 24th. She'll start climbing the hot charts in no time.
