The Tesla Roadster might look like any other luxury sports car, but it is 100% electric. The first of its kind, the Roadster is able to go 0-60 in 3.7 seconds, peaks at 248 hp and has absolutely zero emissions. Tesla Motors may be a small company now, but with style and future-concepts like this, they will soon grow. Definitely a B Worthy auto.

It certainly is a sexy car. It can achieve such a ridiculous acceleration curve because electric engines have full torque over almost all ranges of rpm. Because of this, electric cars have at most 3 gears, and I would guess don't need to shift to go in reverse (just reverse the current).
ReplyDeleteIn may ways Tesla needs to pull it together, they're struggling due to an overly expensive production process and a lack of funds. This wouldn't be a problem if they would just make some of the damn things and sell them. Added to this, a lengthy court bout seems to be looming between current CEO Elon Musk and Founder Martin Eberhard threatening to waste precious time and money. They need to sack up, become a true B-worthy man, and produce these beastly cars.
