The American League has now won home field advantage for the World Series for the 13th year in a row defeating the National League 4-3. Adam Jones from the Baltimore Orioles hit a sacrifice fly in the 8th inning to send Detroit Tiger's Curtis Granderson in for the winning run, who got himself on base with a triple. The NL did give the AL team a run for the money as Brad Hawpe from the Colorado Rockies hit a high fly ball over the fence, but not before Carl Crawford of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays jumped up perfectly

and snagged the ball over the fence landing him not only the save of the game, but also got himself named the All-Star MVP. The All-Star game is just a sick game overall since the best of the best get to face off and prove who truly are the best players in the league. I also like that they use the Midsummer Classic as the way to choose home field advantage for the World Series since that does come into heavy play at the end of the season. The AL kept up their beastly mentality and are now apart of the B Worthy club.
